Joel Gott Unoaked Chardonnay, 2022

Joel Gott Chardonnay is an unoaked Chardonnay that is crisp and clean. It has aromas of pear, sweet-tart apple and mango with notes of citrus and honeysuckle. On the palate, the wine opens with bright fruit flavors, followed by crisp minerality on the mid-palate and a long, clean balanced finish.

The grapes are sourced from select coastal vineyards in California, allowing for a cool, maritime climate which results in a slow and even ripening of the fruit. 

This wine is perfect on its own or paired with fish, chicken, or salads. It is refreshing, easy to drink, and an excellent representation of classic California chardonnay.

In addition to Joel’s uncanny blending ability, he has privileged access to many of the best and as yet undiscovered fruit sources in the Napa Valley. Napa scion Joel Gott was born to make wine. His grandfather was winemaker and president of Inglenook in the 1960s and 1970s while his father, Cary Gott, is the founder of Montevina and continues to consult for wineries such as D.R. Stephens.
